Managing Employee Performance  examines the concepts, principles and systems associated with managing employee performance in the workplace.The course provides the opportunity to examine common topics in the supervisory space including performance appraisals, providing sensitive feedback, and performance management. 

By better understanding the framework that underpins workplace relations, Managers and Supervisors will feel more comfortable approaching people management issues to promote workplace productivity.

Target Audience

Managers and Supervisors.

Learning Outcomes

As a result of completing this program, participants should be able to:

  • identify issues relating to employee management;
  • gain an understanding of when performance management should be applied;
  • identify appropriate procedures to follow; and
  • understand the importance of procedural fairness.
