Waste and Recycling

The Municipal Waste Advisory Council (MWAC) is a standing committee of the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA).

The Municipal Waste Advisory Council is actively invloved in:
     -  Statewide co-ordination of recycling issues
     -  Review of waste management legislation
     -  Production of position papers on waste management

Goal: To facilitate, encourage and promote economically sound, environmentally safe and efficient waste managemetn practices for Western Australia, endorsed and supported by Local Government.
