Recommendations and Implications of the State Black Spot Review 2009
A review and report of the State Black Spot Program were completed by Curtin University of Technology researchers in June 2008. A joint Main Roads and WALGA Review Panel has considered the findings and made recommendations on the program.
The Review Panel reported the findings to the State Road Funds to Local Government Advisory Committee, who have accepted the review.
A copy of the final report can be found below along with the Qualitative Descriptive Study, Literature Review, Evaluation of the State Black Spot Program 2000-2002, and the Evaluation of the State Black Spot Program 2003-2004.
Regional presentations on the results of the review are currently being organised. If you would like further details please contact Warren Pearce, Policy Manager Transport and Roads, on (08) 9213 2033, or email wpearce@walga.asn.au.
