Targeted Grants

Up one level

Since 2002 the Perth Biodiversity Project has devolved nearly $900,000 to Local Governments to undertake a range of biodiversity planning and conservation projects. Altogether, 78 biodiversity conservation projects have been funded, with the majority of projects focusing on ecological assessment, protection and management of natural areas and strategic conservation planning.

In 2008-2009, the funding agreement through the Caring for Our Country program does not provide for devolved grants, therefore the PBP will not be opening a new round of Targeted Grants during this financial year.
