Community Policy Reform Project - Directors Roundtable Forum

Community Policy Reform Project - Directors Roundtable Forum
22 Nov
22 Nov

WALGA’s People and Place; Community Policy team are hosting a Forum with WA Local Government members to identify a broad vision, priorities and areas of focus for the future.

Objectives of Community Policy Reform Project:
The Forum is part of a broader body of work that seeks to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement within the Local Government systems and processes, strategies, policies and tools, and ensure we are meeting the needs of all WA Local Government members.

Consultation with WALGA members:
The consultation will take place via two methods, a Directors Roundtable Forum, and an online survey. Whilst our preference is for members to attend the Forum, we recognise this may not be possible. Therefore an online survey will be made available for those who cannot attend in person.

Your participation is most important as it will drive the strategic direction for community development through the collective efforts of Local Governments, WALGA and State Government.

A link to the online survey as well as the workshop program will be available soon.

Morning tea, light lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

Should you require further clarification on any matter relating to this Project or the Forum, please contact Elle Brunsdon, Policy Officer - Community on 9213 2055 or email

Target Audience

This event is specifically for the Directors of Community Services within Local Governments who can assist with driving the strategic direction for our sector. Local Governments may send a proxy.
