WALGA, with support from Main Roads WA and the National Transport Research Organisation, established the Local Government Transport & Roads Research & Innovation Program (LG TRRIP) to deliver research projects that have a direct practical application to the work of Local Governments. The program is funded through the State Road Funds to Local Government Agreement.
We now need your input to determine the future program of research!
WALGA and NTRO are hosting an online interactive workshop to gather information from Local Government practitioners on the areas of research that are most needed and/or would be most beneficial for your work. The specific areas of focus are:
- Roads and Pavements
- Recycling, Sustainability/Circular Economy
- Road Safety
- Asset Management
- Bridges and Structures
- Transport
